If you have a digital camera, I'm sure you have found that you never get too many memory cards. You may have noticed that you can buy inexpensive 'high quality' memory cards on eBay. May be you have even bought one? This might not be such a good deal after all.
Just came across an article today about fake memory cards selling on eBay. They actually claims that a large percentage of all SanDisk cards sold on eBay are fake (I'm sure there are fakes among other brands as well). Read about it at http://martybugs.net/articles/fakesandisk.cgi. This article gives some tips on how to recognize a fake SanDisk Card and there are also links to some useful sites.
May be there is still some thruth on the old saying that "If a deal seems to be too good to be true, it usually is"?
